How old should my baby be for the session?

 

The perfect time for a newborn session is before your baby finishes 14 days of age.
 We work with babies any age, however the earlier the session is
 done the easier it is for the baby. Babies grow very fast and the sleepy, curly stage
doesn't last long. We don't guarantee sleepy poses after 2-3 weeks of age.

 

 

When to book your newborn session?

 

You can contact me at any time during your pregnancy
 to give me an estimated due date, I will then make a tentative
booking and when
 you arrive home from hospital with your brand
new baby you can contact me to arrange
 a suitable time and day for your session.

Your newborn session will take place in my studio in Galway.

 
 How long will your session take...

 

Newborn sessions can take approximately 2-4 hours, allowing enough time for feeding and comforting.


What should I bring for the session?

We provide everything you will need for the portraits.
Studio is filled with props, blankets, hats, headbands.
You just need to bring a pacifier, formula if you're not breastfeeding, and few clean diapers. Please bring 2 blankets, 2 outfits for a baby, muslion cloth.
It's also worth preparing a nice outfit for the
 portraits with the parents ( simple, soilid colours).

 

What to dress the baby in ?
